All workers engaged in construction of docks, railways, motorways, streets, bridges, sewers, subways, tunnels, canals, viaducts, irrigation canals and pipelines

The IWW has members working in all areas of construction, including both building construction and other forms of construction such as railway repair and roadworks. We are willing to organise in all areas and on all job sites no matter how large or small. Our members come from a wide range of jobs, ethnicities, and a mix of permanent, agency and casual workers. When you organise with us, you can be sure of solid support, direct democracy, excellent advice and a radical grassroots approach that the IWW has used throughout its life to ensure that workers get a powerful no-nonsense voice on the job. We take no quarter with scabs, no quarter with aggressive foremen, and definitely no quarter with profiteering bosses!

We are happy to support workers on all sorts of issues, from health and safety, dodgy agencies, to pay and conditions, and are gaining a well-deserved reputation for punching above our weight. Join us today and get organising!
